Is Ron Paul's Delegate Strategy Working?

Really? It seems to me his track record of screeching the sky is falling has been pretty much spot on? This is the guy who said there would be a bubble based on government backed mortgages, and a resulting crash because of it... back in 2003. And what do we know, 5 years later, crash.... for the exact reasons he outlined.

Maybe if you could really see the road we're headed down... caused by out expansion in government debt, and devaluation of the dollar by the Fed, you'd be out 'screeching' about it too.

If we see a sovereign debt crisis in our life times, it very well maybe the end of freedom in this country. The reaction will be 100x worse than Greece, IMHO. And we're headed for that debt crisis full speed ahead right now.

Best thing he could do is back Romney and give his reins to Rand.

I'm sure the GOP knows exactly which direction Ron Paul wants to take them, it's the public that's not accepting his message.

Also, if he gets speech time at the convention I sure hope he remains clam and not get excited. Seeing him waving his arms around screeching that the sky is falling will really put a dampener on the evening.

Yeah, Bush was saying the same thing. Actually 78 times he addressed it and the Dem's who have controlled the Pres, House, or Senate and at least two of those positions simultaneous over the last 12 years blocked it every time.

Point is the Republicans need to come together to take the country back and then they can sort out who they want in leadership. Trying to eat the whole elephant in one bite has been the Achilles heel of the Republicans for a very long time. Ron Paul really needs to see the big picture. He keeps trying to win the battle and we are loosing the war. Like the guy but this is his most destructive flaw - to himself and his goals.

Smith, you're assuming people paid attention back then. A lot of people get mesmerized by what the news anchor

told them. But bashing Bush is chic. Maybe if Bush had been a bit Reaganesque in his communication to us, he

could have by-passed the media and made Barney and friends look like the fools they were and it could have been

prevented. I'm dreaming, I know.
