I was browsing through the Wally World in Cool Spring tonight and saw this Kershaw Select Fire on sale for $8. They had a lot in stock in both black and blue handles.

Yeah, it looks like it will make a good beater knife. It has two different sizes of flat and two of phillips, plus a bottle opener. It also feels pretty sturdy in your hand.

I have one in non-serrated, but paid about $20. This is a very solid liner lock knife overall, not "little" in any sense, 3.5" blade, full grip handle, fairly comfy even with all the additional stuff buried in it. Standard 8CR13MOV steel as on most of their PRC models; left or right tip down clip. Socket extension has ruler also.

8 clams is quite the steal indeed!

Buddy of mine gave me his after ramming it through his hand doing something stupid. A real " hey watch this" moment.

Anywho, great knife so far, very firm lockup, handy tools, and pretty sharp out of the box. Just ask my friend.

One thing to keep an eye on is the bolts holding the pocket clip on, they can get loose after a bit and they just don't tighten up real well after that.

I went to wally world saturday and they were still 15 bucks here. I would have bought one at 8 but im in no hurry to get one at 15.

I picked one up last night when grabbing 12 gauge birdshot for today's 3 Gun at Music City Tactical. They still have plenty...looked like about 3 different models all for $8 each. I grabbed one for each vehicle.

It must be just the middle TN stores because neither the Knox or Memphis stores have them. My FIL and buddy run service route and have to do stops in WW and I asked them to keep an eye out for me. They said they have been to all of them and all are selling them for 15

Don't y'all know these are the cheap "Wal-Mart" only versions of these knives?

But seriously, will have to swing by there tomorrow!
