Has anyone taken an advanced training/self defense class? I seem to always run through scenarios at home of the what-ifs, where could I try to get my family to for their safety while I deal with the threat. While that's all fine and dandy I want to be prepared for situations not just in my home. If you have taken one, could you post the pros and cons and the type of training you got?

Look in the "Tactics and Training" forum on this site. There are two recent reviews of Level 2 and Level 3 classes offered at Guns & Leather.
