IE 10

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to post and say I am trying windows 8 with IE 8, (the customer Preview) and I am unable to log on with it. When I click sign in, I get the loading boxes up top, however the pop up for the sign in never seems to load. I will check more to see if I need to enable/disable something.

So far I have disabled pop up blocker to no avail. I tried to add it to the trusted sites but since it is not HTTPS it would not allow.

I got this issue resolved. Had to turn on Compatibility mode for this site. Sounds simple now but it didn't jump out at me. I kept lowering security settings until I turned them all off, nothing changed. Turned on Compatibility mode and it started working. Reset security settings.

Yes, Especially companies. None of our internal applications are designed to support anything but IE.

As I support IE where I work, I try to use it at home. It sounds simple and crazy but we get allot of How to use the internet calls.

I mean allot of the calls we get are just over simple stuff. Now I know allot of people don't use computers, but I figure people that are younger then me, that grew up with computers should be able to do the basics.

When I am running the developer preview of windows 8 IE 10 runs better, cleaner, and faster than the previous versions with compatability mode on, I was much more impressed with the X64 version of IE 10 than the other X64 browsers available to point.
