Rossi Matched Pair

My youngest daughter had the great fortune of being given a, what I believe to be a rossi matched pair with a .22 and .410 barrel configuration. I do not have much experience with these guns and have looked all over google and can't seem to find it, so here is the question: can you find a .243 or .223 barell that will fit this gun. I am pretty sure it is the youth matched pair and not the trifecta or wizard. Thanks

For some reason that I can't quite explain, I kind of want one of those Rossi .22/.410 combos, myself. The .44 Mag/20 gauge combo sounds interesting, as well. Anyhow, I seem to recall seeing, somewhere, that the receiver for the .410/.22 model isn't large and/or strong enough to withstand any of the more powerful rifle calibers. I couldn't swear to it, though.

I also seem to recall that, while some of the larger (centerfire) combos can be fit with other barrel options, it is generally necessary to send them in to be hand-fit. Again, I am just pulling that from somewhere in the Stygian depths of my memory.

Rossi does not sell barrels separate and the Wizard barrels will not fit. You might find someone who wants to get rid of just the barrel or you can just buy another gun. They aren't all that expensive.

I think that may be incorrect. I was looking at one of those a few months ago and recall seeing the spare barrels being sold through Rossi's website.

They sell barrels for the Wizard series but not individual barrels for the Matched Pair or Trifecta guns. At least that's what Rossi said. I looked for a customer.

If you are going to go with a Rossi, get the wizard. You can get the .410/.22 barrels along with any other main caliber and gauge. You can also get muzzle loader barrels. They really aren't that expensive either, around maybe $90 to $110 each.
