there are a few differences but tn and ga are pretty close. Remember that posted (no guns allowed signs) stores and all are not to be entered, is the big one coming from ga to tn.

glad to have you on board! There is also a n-ga / tn board in gunboards.com, though its not huge its a place to cross the state lines and they do a shoot every few months.
