Foreign trade zones?

Does anybody know if its legal to have a firearm on foreign trade zone property? Not really wanting to carry on my person just keep it in my vehicle.

As far as legality I don't know. It may depend on if it's posted properly. I do know they don't want them there. VW has told even some reserve police officers they are not welcome with even their weapons in there cars. Under HR 218 they couln't be prosecuted though. On duty officers must be invited onto the property. With whats going through the House I think you will be allowed to keep it in a car there but it may not be a good career move and the only forbiden by law place would be Nuke Plants as far as I know.

Place in question would be a nissan zone. Definetely against policy but im driving about 70miles and dont like going that far from home unarmed

I wondered about Nissan and the proposed parking lot bills. I wonder if their foreign Trade Zone status will come into play.
