Which bank do you use?

I live in Hendersonville (Nashville) and have been thinking about switching to a more local/regional bank.

Who do you bank with, and what are some of the perks/benefits you receive with said bank? What, if any, drawbacks have you noticed while dealing with said bank?

I use Bank of Nashville there near Lowe's. Really nice folks. Just no Saturday hours.

You may want to look at a credit union. I have found the accounts are lower in cost than banks and interest rates are usually better.

I don't currently pay any fees for the accounts themselves. There are fees for using non-BoA ATM's.

RENASANT BANK, both in Hendersonville and Nashville. Very small, regional/local. Not tied to the big banks...so far.

Also, another bank that I HIGHLY recommend - Tennessee Bank & Trust. Started by a TN billionaire about 8 years ago. Two locations, Green Hills and Cool Springs/Brentwood/Franklin. Lobby hours used to be until 7pm six days a week, not sure if that still stands. Checked the website, didn't say.

I'm currently with BoA, I've been very happy with them but I'm going to have to change now. I've been thinking about changing anyway as it is 35 miles to thenearest branch. I'm going to use some sort of local bank, haven't decided which one yet. Or I may go the credit union route.

UT Federal CU. been with them since college ~10years. Very happy with the customer service. Don't like their branch locations are posted with gun busters. But that's not enough to make me switch

I also had a car loan with Mountain National Bank (seymore, pigeon forge and other east Tn locations). Very nice as well
