I think it looks great. I wish that it came with the thumb safety that the .45's have. In fact, I wish they offered all models with the thumb safety.

Someone on another board just picked up the new XD-M. Still not sure how in the hell he got it so fast, but here's what they look like in the box.

I like the fact that everything is on the bottom of the case, rather than the gear being on the top, like the current XD's.

There's one on GB, but with the starting price of $760, I'll wait until a local dealer has one for a much better price, even if the one on GB is one of the first 5000 made.

I didn't realize they had 3-Dot fiber optic and tritium night sights. I thought there were gonna be stock 3 dot sights. Must have missed that somewhere.
