New Blount County member with question...

Hi, new member from Blount Co.

When I was a teenager years ago we used to go to my uncle's farm and shoot our shotguns, 38 specials, etc. Back then (in the 1970's) it was OK to shoot weapons on private property in Blount County - at least we thought it was and no one ever bothered us. My uncle still has some property (about 20 acres) in the county. Is it legal for us to safely shoot with his permission? I recently got by handgun carry permit and would like to practice outdoor shooting instead of indoor gun range.

Just found out about this forum...I'm looking forward to being a member here. Thanks.

I have a 100 yrd shooting range in my back yard in Knox CO. I have had LEO's come by once, and they said it was ok and legal as long as you have a good back stop.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm looking forward to shooting my Maverick 88 and my new LCP.

My name is Steve btw. I meant to post it in introductions but forgot. Thanks for making me welcome here.
