Barrel for a Custom .308 Build

I am buying the parts to build a custom .308 that I have already nicknamed "Grim Reaper". It will be a tactical rifle that will be occasionally shot, but will be mainly made to remind me of the fallen soldiers and officers who have died serving our country. Its going to be a Manners T5A, custom painted by OnTarget (in a black/gray skull grim reaper look), with the mini-chasis system. I have just ordered the Defiance Rebel Action. The atlas bipod is here waiting on the rest of the gun. I have already decided of getting a Jewell Trigger and a NightForce Scope but both will be purchased later. The action will be here late June, and the Stock will be here late July.

Now on to my question, which barrel should I get. I wanted a Krieger 5R 23" barrel, but now after talking to Brandon at MidTN Gunsmithing (who will be the one building it) I am considering a Lilja 23" 3-button barrel. So for the barrel contour grandwizards out there, would you get the 3-button barrel and what contour or straight taper would you get. The whole contour or straight tapering confuses me, other than once the barrel gets hot, the gun becomes less accurate. Is straight taper better? I don't mind the extra weight to be honest. Or which contour do you recommend?
