How tight is the retention on that? Tight enough to hold it upside down?

Thanks. Ya, an OD pmag would look good.

The retention is tight. Definitely hold a loaded pmag upside down. I think I actually need to loosen it up a bit, feels a little to tight.

Part of it is by taking into consideration of belt loop size and spacing. On this one, i pretty much went off a picture of a RCS pmag pouch i found online and eyed it. Even though i don't' have exact dimensions, by referencing different points of the pmag, i can tell how big RCS cut theirs.

Also, on AR mags, you grab the mags with a "coke can grip," so you want a lot of of pmag exposed.

Depends on the shooter. Some use rounds forward just like you would with pistol mags.

I wish I was creative and motivated enough to do some of these projects. I'm liable to end up with too many different things going at once and the old lady will notice.
