XP 100

I have always been a big fan of single shot pistols. Your Savage Stryker, XP 100, Contender/Encore and other brands. The only one I have actually owned is the Contender/Encore.

While the Contender/Encore is a great gun, it has never had the cool factor the XP 100 has. I think the XP 100 is the best looking single shot pistol out there.

I am sure there are some members here that have one. So if you do, post a pic of it and let us know what it is chambered in.

I had one of the original XP100's in 221 fireball years ago . It was lots of fun to shoot, one of those that I got rid of for something better. Probably a Glock or some other new piece of plastic fantastic! :shake:

back in 1981 i pickup two xp100's. one is in 7mm-308 and the second one is in 30-223. used them for long rage pistol matches.

XP 100 damn that is a name you almost never hear anymore. just like 7mm-308.

do you by chance remember when they were discontinued?

Had one in .223, and 2 Green Stocks in 7mm BR with Burris scopes. The BRs were absolute tack drivers at 100 yards. Hard to believe they could rival rifle accuracy. I did have one photo of the 3 together, but it's not digital. Had Contender with numerous barrels. Not a fan. Had one of those Black breech load Magnum Research(I believe). Crappy trigger system and way to much recoil in .44 Mag. If I had all the leisure time to reload and shoot the 7mm BR is just one great Cartridge.

Found pics of the .223 and one 7mmBr. Dated August 1993.
