Petrino fired

That is not surprising at all. I figured that if the college didn't fire him, donors would threaten to pull funding until it happened. He one of the best coaches in the country right now and won't be unemployed long.

That was probably not an easy call for the school. The Hogs are poised to make a run next year. Lots of returning starters, including the qb, and they play Bama and LSU at home. Good for them though. Hopefully Petrino will not get picked up by a big-time program. He should just cool his heels for a while.

All things eventually see the light of day. In other words: "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes."

While that would have been a tough call for the school, how would you, as a parent, feel about him being in your house recruiting your son? Believe it or not, there are more expectations from a coach, an authority figure (father figure if you will), than getting players to the NFL. I know that I would not want him to be an influence in my son's life.

When you don't beat LSU, you get angry. When you get angry, you buy a Harley. When you buy a Harley, you meet a 25 year old blonde female former college volleyball player. When you meet a 25 year old blonde female former college volleyball player, you invite her to ride on your Harley. When the 25 year old blonde female former college volleyball player rides on your Harley pressed against you, you end up in a roadside ditch.

Don't end up in a roadside ditch.
