Trying to start a poll

I was trying to start a poll and I used the "manage topic poll" function, typed out my questions and the multiple choice answers, clicked finish and it all disappeared. What did I do wrong?

Just tried it in test forum. Same results as you, couldn't do it.

What is the tread you're having trouble with? Only recent threads I'm seeing is in the classified section

I was going to add a poll in the General section

I don't see any threads started by you in General Chat.

Did you click the Post New Topic button after you submitted your poll and post?

There does not appear to be a way to view the poll until you create the thread.

I will try it again. I didn't complete the thread because when I finished the poll it all disappeared, so I stopped. I will try again sometime.

Just tried again in test forum, no soap. Poll dialogue goes away after you hit "finish" which leaves blank post, and does not allow that to be submitted because it is a blank post.

Perhaps only Mods with the god-like permissions can do it?

To repeat, we can't Post New Topic, because it's blank.

It seems to be permissions setting. Do you have non-moderator log in capability?

Ahh.... misunderstood. Thought that only the poll dialog was disappearing.

Looking into it. Off the cuff it looks like everything is set right; not sure really what the problem is here but give me a day or two to sort it out.
