Check this crap out! Guns in parking lot stuff:

Recommended Posts

Appears they're looking at raising property taxes again so this freedom and liberty stuff has to go by the wayside.

Oh yeah, and tax breaks for Dolly I'm sure is taking up their time too.

Who's raising property taxes? The State doesn't have anything to do with it.

This is what I sent to Harwell, Ramsey, and Haslam with a cc to my rep. & sen.

I warned them 8 weeks ago not to pull a trick..

If this is indeed true, then I am indeed angry at Republican leadership (and my party). It is a shame I can no longer see any difference between them and the opposition.

It is *precisely* what I foresaw two months ago, and commented on below.

Very shameful and telling to know that I cannot count on MY OWN SIDE to bring an issue like this to vote on the floor.

Tell me leadership folks….who should I vote for next time ?? What difference does it really make ?? We have decent local reps, but YOU STAND IN THE WAY!

Here's what I wrote to Harwell, Ramsey, the house and senate leaders, and my representatives:

If this is article is true then it is really sad that you as leaders of the Republican party, (of which I am a member), think that the preamble to the United States Constitution reads We the Corporations of the United States rather than, “We the People of the United States…†and since I can’t count on the leadership of my own party to do what’s right then this is the wrong party for my vote.

The property rights of an employer that opens their business to the public ends at my vehicle’s door. That’s my property; not theirs! It’s pretty darned sad that you all cannot even pass a simple law prohibiting an employer from compelling an employee into allowing them to search their vehicle for any reason. After all, if there’s probable cause to believe that a law has been broken by the employee then the police should be the ones searching the vehicle; not the employer.

Since I cannot count on you then do not count on my support for you or the Republican Party!

Corporate personhood. Corporations are people too.
