Anybody know if a CMMG 22lr conversion could be used on an ar with this:

I need to replace my gas block, anyway, when I install a free floating foregrip and am considering converting it if it'll work with the cmmg 22 bolt I already have.

Anybody know if it'll work? I don't see why it wouldn't, but ya never know.

It will work if you remove the piston rod each time you use the CMMG. Removing the rod is rather easy .

The piston rod will hit the front of the CMMG if left in and will not allow it work.

I have seen some grind the top of the BCG on the CMMG to allow the rod to pass over the top of the CMMGs BC.

I do think CMMG makes a kit now for the piston AR
