c.a.williard, how do you like carrying the full size? I have one of each in .40 (deployment pistols) and I compared them to each other trying to see the real difference in overall size. I'm not 100% sure that the full size would be that much harder to conceal than the compact.

Depends on how I'm dressed. In dress clothes/suit, I carry a S&W Bodyguard 380 in my front pocket in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster. In jeans and untucked shirt, I'm carrying a Glock 26 in a Don Hume JIT slide.

Glock 33 with .40 barrell most of time 4oclock iwb. If dressed up pocket carry SW bodyguard. In holster. Just a tip if you pocket carry. The cans of compressed gas for computers rid your gun from bunnies left behind.

I wish I could say I carried a 1911 everyday, but it's usually the LCP. If not, the a Glock 19. As summer is upon us, the 380 in the pocket is easier, and laziness to dress around the gun sets in.

Springfield XDm 9mm compact. Usually IWB concealed but sometimes I'll go OWB open carry.

Beretta Px4 Storm Subcompact, unless I am going to Memphis, then a Beretta 92fs with extra mags.

In the MTAC it hides really well, weight and size are really not an issue. If you have both the full and compact i recommend buying holsters that fit the full size as they will also fit the compact, but not always the other way around.

I've carried various full sized guns up to 4 1/2"(Glock 22) and 4 3/4"(CZ75B) barrels with this. Conceal with a button up shirt, 1 size up.

Holds tight to your body, also retention. I have three of these for various guns. It's OWB and they also have a paddle version.

And a thumbsnap version

I have the Bianchi model 83 for my G22. It's a GREAT OWB holster. The retention release is perfect.

I used to carry a Bulgarian Makarov PM 9x18mm Makarov. Now I carry my new Glock 19 Gen 4 9x19mm. Both are OWB carry with the glock having a strong retention holster. Both are excellent pistols.

A lcp in either a back pocket or front pocket holster depending on if I'm wearing shorts or jeans.

I carry a Glock 29SF 10mm usually in a Fobus paddle holster. For church I use a Tagua leather holster and for concealment purposes I use a crossbreed Supertuck. My BUG is a DB9 in an uncle mikes pocket holster.

For ammo in the 10mm I use 165g speeder gold dots with 11grains of PowerPistol in new Starline brass with CCI primers.

For the 9mm I use 124g Walmart Winchester hollow points.

How is the G22 with a IWB?

Sorry I've been away for awhile. Fantastic! I've got a large body structure and it's extremely easy to conceal. Some would call me crazy, but I feel it's easier to conceal a my full-sized gun over some of my compacts like the Beretta Nano.

My primary carry is a 1911 .45 acp officer's model. My secondary is a Joe S*** .22 one inched barreled snubby, carried in my pocket.
