Steyr Owners?

I've done some searching and found a few mentions of Steyr handguns, so I'm sure there a few of you who are packing one.

This was the first gun I bought, about a year ago, a .40-cal MA1. Thus far, I have no issues with the piece. It has worked flawlessly. I keep it in the house (as I have a different carry weapon), with Winchester 180 gr JHPs in the mags.

I'd like to hear all about your Steyrs. If any of you carry, I'd also like to hear how you pack them, your holsters, etc. I may want to start carrying mine, but it seems a bit bulky.

I have a MA1 in 9mm and my wife keeps it in her night stand with a Surefire X200 light. I would say that it is a pretty nice shooting pistol. I don't think it is a very good ccw piece as it is a little bulky. It is a nice shooter, and the sights do take a little getting used to.

Yeah, I didn't think there would be many responses in the way of carrying. Mine is the first gun I ever purchased, so I haven't really had an issues with the sights. It was relatively inexpensive when I got it, although I now kind of wish I'd gotten the 9mm instead of the .40 at the same price.

I'm going to be going out this weekend, so I may post some pics of the pistol and targets if there's any interest ... although my targets will probably end up looking like buckshot was fired at them.
