Called my dealer on this deal.........he said he can get me both Gen3 or 4 .....I said REALLY ?>?!?!?!?!

i just scored a gen 3 OD G23 on order at normal black price.....a huge one from my local dealer

he found 2......kept one for himself and gave me one also....I am thrilled ,see it the end of the week!!!!!!! WOOP

Other reports I have seen didn't list the price that much. They were pretty close to the black models.

Why anyone would have them priced differently is beyond me; it's just a color injection in the mold. It's not a different material or anything... like the pea soup... uh... OD models. (I do NOT like the green; yuck.)

I really like the looks of this new color. I'm surprised Glock is coming out with a new color offering right now considering they are behind on 300,000 orders.

My Gen 2 19 was sent in for a makeover on Feb 26th and I still don't have it back. I called Tuesday and they said it could be several more weeks.

maybe this is why they are behind. They've been churning out FDE frames

I actually saw this coming. I was in a Gun shop outside of Smyrna, GA that my cousin took me to that still had new OD Glocks. I was talking to the guy who said he was expecting a new release of "colored frames to hit any time now" Being that he was trying to sell new OD's for $549 I didn't see anything he had to gain from lieing to me.

I handled one today. Can't say I really like the color. They look way better in pictures than firsthand imo.

They were the same price as black Glocks though.
