+1 on the grill idea. And I'm happy to be in charge of grilling if somebody can supply the grill (mine is too big to be carrying around). I'm famous in my neighboor for my grillin'.

Owl Hollow was awesome. I'm thinking about joining now. Thanks, musicman, for letting me try out your S&Ws.

Can't wait for the next outting!

As always I enjoyed meeting and shooting with everyone. I had been considering checking out and becoming a member of Owl Hollow and was very impressed with the range today. I am sure the amazing weather helped but everything seemed well maintained. Nice solid target stands, good cover, and benches. For all of that the price seems hard to beat for membership.

I would be fine just skipping the lunch thing or grilling would be a nice option. I know I will be bringing a small cooler and and some water or gatoraide next time I go to Owl Hollow. I was a bit parched when I left and had to hit the gas station for a beverage as soon as possible.

Thanks again and see you all again next month.

Wowee that was a GREAT day!! The weather could not have been better, and the company was awesome! You all are a lot of fun to hang out with! Thanks for letting me share my guns with all of you, and vice versa.

I also really appreciate all the ammo sharing, especially you Tokarev, ClutePC, and TheMark! Thanks XDShooter, for my first shots with a 7MM mag! Jason, that 22 Hornet is FUN!

I'd totally be all up on a grill out at OH! I suck at grilling, but I'm good at eating! I'll help bring whatever foodstuffs we'd need.

Here's a few pics I took:

ClutePC and his new baby! You guys should see the targets he shot with this thing. Very impressive!

Here's Jason and his Hornet, about to hit another bullseye!

Here's XDShooter living up to his name. Check it out, in full blowback!

Here's XDShooter again with a .44.

Alright, that's all I've got. Again, thanks so much HanSolo and Hunter for hosting a great day for us. It was great to meet some folks I hadn't seen before, and I can't wait until our next meet. I'll try to bring more golf balls next time! ;):):D

Thanks to OHGC. It was a great day of shooting fun. It was great to hang out with all those we've met before and put faces to those whom i've chatted with on the boards. Thanks to those who let me and the wife shoot their fine wapons. It looks like I'm gonna be on the market for a Bersa .380CC for the wife now. Thanks XDshooter. That's OK, as I'm starting to turn to the darkside. Next thing you know, I'll have a Glock. As for a cookout, that sounds like a great idea. We look forward to shooting with you next month. Take care, Brian and Stephanie

Hey guys,

Just wanted to jump on here real fast and let everyone one know that I really enjoyed yesterday. It was good getting to meet even more people, you can never know to many people. Eddie & Allan thanks again for letting me "test" out your guns. I really liked the Bersa. Thanks Hunter for letting me use your camera. I hope I got some good pictures for everyone. As far as the next meet-up I'm all about grilling and we are more then happy to contribute to whatever is needed. Hopefully more wives / girlfriends will beable to show up next time. Well everyone take care. Stephanie :)

Thanks for the complement musicman, it still surprises me how well the Saiga's shoot. I hope to stay a little longer next time, never got a chance to get over to the pistol pits.

Here is a video of musicman and his Mosin, it's from my phone so it's not the best,

My shoulder is bruised and feels like a played football all day...and lost..

That Mosin has a little kick to it..not that the Saiga helped with that either but I blame the Mosin..:D

That was cool! I didn't know you were taking a video, I forgot my makeup! :D

Yea, my shoulder is a little red today, too. Gee, I don't know why... I mean, the things' got one of those nice steel buttpads and all! Maybe for everyone else's sake I'll look into a slip-on recoild pad in the future.

Next time I'll try to remember to bring one of my M-38 Mosin-Nagants. The one with the after market syn stock with the built in soft rubber butt pad. It doesn't have the bayonet to use as a standoff device ;-) but it might be a little more pleasant to shoot and still be short enough tho makka de big KA-BOOM.

The picture I wish I would have taken was the look on xd shooters face after he pulled the trigger on the Mosin.. it was priceless..

That thing still shocks me everytime I do..

Oddly enough though I've still never shot a AR of any sort, I'll probably be hooked on AR's as soon as I do..

tokarev - I hope to have the scope for my Saiga the next time we get together, after talking to you about yours I want to hurry up and get it..
