I visited the CMMG folks in Missouri a few weeks back. Quite an impressive group of people in my opinion. The owner's business has taken off and he has added quite a few staff. I always love an American success story and this seems to be one in the making.

I am certain many of the other small manufacturer's out there are excellent as well, but this one was one I had a chance to visit with.

For a while, they had Bargain Bin AR's for sale. I think they were $550 and $570 w/ a chorme lined barrel. According to the reviews on AR-15.com, it seems it was one of the best running deals out there. I'm kicking myself for missing out.

An absolute top-notch company. Great people to do business with, and very, very good products. These guys know short-barrel ARs as well as anyone. I have CMMG barrels in both of my AR pattern guns.

I purchased one of the Bargin Bin ARs. What a deal!!! It is absolutely flawless. Not a scratch or blem on it. It is a DPMS. I had not shot a rifle in more than 15 years. At 50 yards, groups were 2" or less. I am not bragging, it is just that sweet of a weapon. My 2 cents worth.
