Who Else is More Accurate with Their 1911s Than Their Other Pistols?

My take on gun accuracy is simple........full rails and metal always shoots best...CZs got em,1911s got em

early S&Ws got em,revolvers no brainer......

My most accurate auto loader is my Les Bare Thunder Ranch with a trigger so light that it's almost not there.

However; my MOST accurate handgun is my S&W Model 29 (Dirty Harry gun) - what a blast to shoot - those targets are the ones I keep

I too was 'more accurate' with 1911.

My grip and trigger pull were the problem.

The 1911 let me get away with it although in rapid shooting there was still a problem n the 1911.

Until I got at the root of the problem, the 1911 shooting could only progress so much.

I had the EXACT issue with Rifle.

A rifle with little to no pretravel made me more accurate...

So now I am addressing my fundamentals and will be able to shoot better on any gun.

My CZ 75 is the most accurate for me. I actually went to the range this week with a new 1911, HK P7, and my old CZ...Its still the CZ!

A good single action trigger helps. A Sig has slack in the trigger in single action.

So, is it just me? I've had the P220 for a couple of months longer than the EB. Is it the design? The barrel length? The trigger?

Software issue, not a hardware issue.

My 5" 1911 amazes me, the 3" not so much. My Glock 19 was almost as natural as my Caracal C.
