I have no experience with one but I do believe that SCCY, it was SKYY before changing names, does not have a very good reputation. Serious quality control issues, parts breakage, etc.

Ditto. Might just be one to stay away from, unless you were particularlly happy with the Jennings and Bryco line of products too.

Looks like a copy of the Kel Tec P11.

Pretty much mirrored the P11 and P3AT but do offer an alloy frame on the 380acp.

that "effortless" 9 pound trigger really makes me want one. Holy cow. If I could pick up 10 pounds with my finger, I wouldnt need a gun, I would be chuck norris already....

Looks like the kel-tec p3-at is listed at 6 lbs 4 oz...

Pretty big difference. Thanks to all for the comments on this. Kinda confirmed some of the suspicions that I had.

i had the cpx-1 which about the only difference is the thumb safety. they removed it due to serious issues (safety engaging while firing being the main one). the gun was the most problematic gun i owned. i had feed issues , eject issues regardless of the ammo i used. i don't know about the cpx-2 but i've seen them for $229...i would rather have a lcp or tcp for that price. but just my $.02

Ended up getting the Kel-tec Pf9! 150 rounds downrange of standard Remington target 9mm. That is close to the end of the break in period. ::pleased::
