How, in Sumner County, do you file a complaint about judicial behavior?

Recommended Posts

I have sat in Judge Dee David Gay's courtroom as an observer to a trial all week. I cannot believe the outrageous, hypocritical behavior I have seen from the judge and the prosecution team. The judge has lost his composure on the bench, screaming at the defense about how he's "human" and can't "neglect his passions," yet if an observer or someone else in the room sheds a tear of compassion, or in any way makes a face or shakes their head to any statements made, they are to be ejected. Meanwhile, an assistant of DA Whitley's, a young "lady," for lack of wishing to use the correct term, has sat there the entire trial making horrible faces, shaking her head, etc... the EXACT activities the judge has warned against, but he has failed to call HER on them.

It is my opinion that it is time for Judge Gay to consider retirement, because his fairness and impartiality have obviously been compromised over years of service, and the assistant DA needs a serious reprimand for her inappropriate behavior.

How and where does one go about filing an official complaint?
