Selling a Firearm in TN?

Hi,

I want to sell a pistol which I never used and was given as a bithday present.

I know I can only post for selling with a subscription. That is not the question.

Question is: Am I allowed by TN law to sell a firearm without having a FFL?

If so what is the recommendation on what should be observed?

Ask for proof of residency, proof of age if it is not obvious they are at least 18. ask if they are prohibited from owning a firearm in TN.

Thats about it. You don't need an ffl

Yep. As long as you aren't selling to someone who doesn't live in the same state as you or is otherwise prohibited from purchasing a firearm you should be good.
