I just bought a Dillon's CV-2001 Vibratory Case Cleaner, I have a question about the media that's best.

I have walnut and corn cob, also I have Dillon's polish also have Nu-finish car polish. Let me know what combo works to get a shinny case before I load this new CV-2001

Thanks for any help

I can't tell the difference between the results I got with Nu-Finish and Dillon's polish. The Nu-Finish is much less expensive (and available down the street), so I use that.

I get walnut media at Harbor Freight in a 25lb box.

I use the Zilla desert blend from petco. No polish.

Are you both using the Dillon? if so how many 9mm should I tumble at one time? Do you go half brass/half media? I'm asking all these because I have been using a 5lb tumbler from Harbor Freight and it used to give me a very shinny finish. I have tried changing media, other polish's no polish... It cleans but to a dull finish??

I have a Franklin tumbler. I use about 1/3 brass to 2/3 media. As for the dull brass finish, perhaps your tumbler is running slower than when new. Less energy equals less aggressive polishing.
