You may not like them, but it would have been a huge tyranny...

They may not look like your friends and they may not be the nicest people around, but if the

federal government keeps trying to entrap people for their speech, what's next?

If the government keeps this up, they might see a fight on their hands. Holder likes the

New Black Panthers, but chooses to indict these? There's your racism. Glad he lost.

It's not necessarily the same thing, but the scenario in Enemies, Foreign and Domestic,

the Kindle book, shows a scenario where government tries to trump up a gun club to

being a domestic terrorist group for the purpose of taking all our gun rights away.

Is it really different that a militia is preparing for extreme situations, but not acting anything

out? Then being entrapped by an FBI infiltrator, Dan Murray. I had to mention his name.

Tom Clancy might find it amusing.

We live in a dangerous world, including our own country. Is it our government or the people

that are the dangerous ones?

This is the problem with a lot of people today. They would like to take certain peoples' rights away based on personal preference and not the law.

As the old Chinese curse says..."May you live in interesting times". We are definitely at a tipping point.

It does make one wonder if this is another part of Obama's "under the radar" effort to undermine Second Amendment rights. It really looks to me like they are doing everything they can to construct a crisis situation to use for the purpose of pushing gun-control legislation (and I am not one to make such a broad claim lightly). Fortunately, so far all of them have backfired. We live in a period where special interests control politics, and politicians, both left and right, cater to these interests instead of honoring their oath to uphold the Constitution.

It's not even under the radar. MSNBC is fomenting a race war and blaming 2A laws. The EPA seems to be making some rulings about the "evils of lead bullets" in the environment. Look at Holder's actions. I'm afraid the time is here.

If anyone thinks the Feds won't do something like this, read the story of "Ruby Ridge" about

how the Gov. entrapped Randy Weaver, then ended up killing his wife & son, wounding

others. This in the Bill Clinton/Janet Reno era. Makes my blood boil everytime I think

about that. Compare Clinton-Reno to Obama-Holder. No difference.

I Just never forgot Ruby Ridge and Waco. Reading EFAD spun the same thing and these militias

I actually forgot, but after reading that they were jailed without bail for two years really got under my skin.

Gerry Spence, who was Randy Weavers Def. Atty. in the case, wrote a book on Ruby Ridge.

Good reading on the case & the way the Feds mishandled the whole affair. Absolute

disgrace to this country. Waco was another case in point, where the Feds wanted to put

on a show of who's boss. We all knopw how that went down.

These two events were what set Timothy McVeigh off. While I certainly don't condone

what he did to a lot of innocent folks, I can understand his frustrations.

I never read the book, but I did see Spence's interview. I agree with everything he said and acted on

to defend what was left of Weaver. That was nothing but brute force, just like Waco. It will happen again.
