Gun belt, holster and mag pouch from RG Leather.

Just got these in today FINALLY. I thought I had a gun belt before (Don Hume) but this sets the bar high. Prices were great too. That's his gun and mags in the holster but I have the same model without the safety ( S&W 5946).

That's pretty! I've been fooling around with metal clips and kydex J-hooks but after seeing that I think I need to do some more belt loops. Are those loops detachable?

They are but are screwed in. I actually removed them, grinded down the posts and added some spring. Clips lower down. It was riding a little higher than I liked but that fixed it. No fault of the builder as he told me beforehand that it might ride high. The loops do look cool though.

Thanks for the info. I think I might try to make some leather loops and mount them on kydex tabs for a tuckable best of both worlds option.

Thats the best thing about using the metal spring clips. I had originally thought " How in the heck would I be able to conceal a 5946 with a tuckable holster?!" Last night though I tried it and it actually conceals better than any holster/gun combo I have ever had. That is mainly due to the fact that this is a well made holster and actually holds the gun deep and close to my body. I love it!

Yeah. I like how quick on and off the spring clips are. They do a great job. I rarely tuck my shirts so it's not the most important thing but I like to have the option. Just seeing your belt loops got my vanity going. I mean it is a concealment holster but I want it to look good!

Believe it or not until I recently purchased my Sig P229 from a fellow TGOer I carried a Beretta 92FS iwb all the time. Having a good holster and belt make a huge difference. I'm sure you'll get a lot o life out of that rig.

I ordered a belt from RG on Monday based on this post and what I saw at the RG Leather website. I'm looking forward to getting it. He said about a month turn around. I don't think that's too bad for custom work.

I got my belt Wednesday. Fits great, looks great, and it carries great. I've got no problem recommending RG.
