Hi everyone! I don't have my carry permit yet, but did take the class this weekend along with my husband and daughter. Her birthday present for the big 21 was her own pistol and the carry permit class.

We shoot often on our farm, both for fun and at varmints after our animals, so we're all fair shots. Even so, I was nervous about the class, but everyone did great and we will all be able to carry once the paperwork cycles through.

My company is one of many who would fire me for having a weapon on the property, so I'm very interested in the progress of the Safe Commute Bill. It has been very irritating to see it be deferred in committee again and again. Any news about the bill would be appreciated!
