Extra sweet! I've been looking at those for awhile now...

You may have noticed I was only getting a few shots out of each mag, I had 4 mags so I loaded each with only 5 rounds each to pratice changing the mags out also. Now the mag release is a little different on the P22 from my kahrs and glocks but still I am getting some practice changing mags, even if it is a little different.

Yeah thats good practice. I've done that occasionally. I load 2-4 each in 3-4 mags and try to jumble them up so I don't know how many are in each one (well, can guess by weight sometimes).

You could try adding a side step in either before or after the change if you want a challenge.

How well does the p22 function? Can you expect 100 jam free shots out of it on a range visit? I've always found .22 rimfire pistols to be kind of a headache to keep running with a lot of rapid fire.

I try to be sure and clean them after each outing, I have two, so far the only malfunctions I have had with them was due to cheap ammo, just a few duds, or limp wristing, not me but my step daughter or my grandson.

I like them just to play with, they are not tack drivers but fun to practice with and cheap to shoot.

I had a P-22 for a few years, I loved it. When I first got my HK, I would use it to practice because of the ambi mag releases--that was about all that was common, other than that the two felt totally different. I miss it, but I like my Mosquito too, so it's all good.

Andersmg, I'm planning on basically the same idea with my Kimber and a conversion kit. It really makes practicing a lot more cost-effective--more practice means more skill, and that's always a good thing.
