ive looked forever online for one, and since its discontinued, its even more difficult. Does anyone have one for sale or know of the whereabouts of one?

sweet jesus, i didnt know they would be that expensive. I saw in a 2001 shooters bible they were only like 600 or something, and that was 11 years ago. That is so stupid for them to be that high. Im guessing its just because theyre discontinued???

Buy a Ruger Blackhawk in .30 carbine, it'll be more reliable and will last forever. Autoloading .30 carbine pistols have had a lot of problems and a lot of companies have tried to make them. Long skinny bullets don't like to feed well in the short confines of a pistol and the pressures of the .30 carbine are a bit on the hot side for a tilting-barrel (Browning) action. I think Taurus makes a version of their Raging Bull revolvers in .30 carbine also.
