Gave my $9 Mora Clipper a little TLC today.

After using and abusing my Mora clipper for a couple of months, it was looking a bit rough.

Since this is the carbon steel version, it was super easy to put a nice protective patina on.

A little hot vinegar and about 45 minutes gave me this.

I also added some gimping and texture on the spine of the bade to hide previous damage.

Now my $9 workhorse does not look so bad and it has a bit of rust protection.

Great job! Moras are great knives, especially for the money!!! One thing I see others do with their Moras is square the spine up for ease of use with a fire steel. You might want to consider doing that with yours. Maybe just an inch or two in front of the gimping.

I have one of the mora companions in my car. Great knife if I forget to grab my esse.

The sheath is junk, though. Lol
