change location

How do I change my location? Can't find it in the edit profile.

Is there not a gray box in the upper right corner of your profile page that says "Edit my Profile" ?

Been there and tried to find the option to change my location. It's not in there. Where else would it be?

For me after I click edit profile it is toward the bottom under a section called Converted.

If it's not there, I'm not sure, maybe somone else will come along that can provide more help...

Mine isn't there either.

Click your name in the top right corner of the page. In the drop down menu, click My Settings.

Scroll to the bottom third of that page and you will see the option to change your location.

I have done all that already. The option for location is just not there at all.

I'll have to check into this. It sounds like some permissions aren't set quite right.

Wow... ok so that was pretty jacked up. A result of the conversion from vBulletin to IPB it would seem.

I've corrected that issue and also grouped the profile fields a little more logically. I really thought I had already addressed that part of the software but apparently I either only did part of it or skipped it entirely. Sorry about that.

In this same vein, is there a switch to throw that would allow folks real name to show if they choose to?

vBulletin showed them.
