Truglo sights

Anyone have experience with Truglo sights? If so, what did you think? I'm thinking of putting them on an XD9 for home use and IDPA.

My wife's Glock 19 has TruGlo TFOs, which have a reputation for being fragile. She has shot quite a few IDPA matches with them, and they've held up pretty well. In fact, last year, she shot a stage which involved shooting multiple targets through 8" PVC pipes. She shoved the gun just slightly into the pipes, and every time she fired, her front sight bashed into the PVC. Everyone winced with each shot, but the front sight was still firmly attached. I've been very impressed with the TFOs.

I haven't heard the fragile thing before, but I can say I had them on my XD9 and they were phenomenal. Best sights I've ever had. I only wish they made them for all the guns I have.

i have a set on my glock and they have been abused frequently and remain intact and accurate .

While I can't vouch for using them on any handguns, I can attest to their durability and high-visibility on a shotgun. If their product line for sidearms is as good as that for their longarms, I wouldn't have any reservations about using them.

For my old eyes I use XS Big Dot sights for carry and IDPA

I've heard good things about XS sights. Anyone selling them in Nashville, or are they strictly mail order? If so, any recommendations for a gunsmith who can install them?

Anyone have direct experience with both the truglos and XS? I currenly have Dawson precisons, which are far better than the stock sights on my XD9, but still not what I want (hard to see both my target and the front sight). Age issues....

I've fired guns recently with Tru Glo sights, and with XS sights... I liked the XS Big Dot better (easier to pick up, and seemed more durable).

I'll be getting XS sights for my XD-9, for gaming.

I've been giving serious thought to some XS big dots for my HK P2000. I really like them.
