I dunno--only differance between a bat and a 4D is the shiney side--that product still has a shiney side. I'm guessing yes but i'm not going to try it.....

Why wouldn't it be legel? Is it ilegial to carry a bat (ok, truth is I guess I have always assumed it was legal but I don't know for a fact that it is or not). I have a 6 D cell Mag light, don't need any more than that! lol

A flashlight with a handle that resembles a bat. What makes it illegal?

Intent to play baseball? Blunt force trauma? What about that monkeywrench?

I'd rather buy a lead filled tire thumper from the local truck stop, and spend about 1/3 the money.

Fact of the matter is, they can say almost anything is a weapon. My sister was harassed by a LEO for having a 24" ax handle in her car.

Just the handle? I'd rather have a baseball bat, and well, a glove. :D

While that is certainly interesting it is pretty much decorative. I have seen mag lights used as impact weapons several times and about half the time all the batteries come flying out after the second good hit. The larger lights with half a car battery shoved in seem to be the most prone to enecting the batteries. I don't think I would trust this.

A heavy mag light makes for an intimidating piece of gear as an impact weapon but there are better choices. Like bats and ax handles.

Looks like a club to me.

"39-17-1307. Unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon.

(a) (1) A person commits an offense who carries with the intent to go armed a firearm, a knife with a blade length exceeding four inches (4''), or a club."

This. Legal or not, it will snap where it's threaded on with the first real hit. Those threads aren't remotely strong enough.

Hhahahh I have to agree with you . You never know when the ballpark's lights will go out in the middle of a ball game.
