Looking at adding a Kahr CM9 to my EDC. Those people who own one what has been your experience with it, in terms of reliability and accuracy. I have had a couple of Kahrs in the past that were Problematic, also had a couple that were good as Gold. Should of kept those. For me seems to be hit or miss...

Cm9

I've got one. It's definitely a little rougher finished compared to the PM9, however it's a VERY pleasant shooter, and accurate as all getout. Kahr's have one of the best trigger's I've felt in a while. Any other questions??

I have a CW-9 that has become my EDC and after I got it broke in is has been 100% reliable. I still call my Glock my shooting gun and the Kahr my carrying gun just because after shooting several rounds the texturing on the back of the Kahr turns my hand red.

I carry a CM9 most of the time. It has been 100% reliable. The trigger is great and is a real tack driver.

No experience with a CM9 but I love my PM9 and CW9. As others have said they're very accurate for such small guns.

I purchased mine the first day it was available. It was sent to Kahr three times for FTF (nose drive Jam). My results are not typical because it was part of a "glitch" batch. I was told this, on the phone, by someone higher than first tier customer service. On the third visit they replaced everything, but the frame and it’s been perfect ever since.

Pros

Weight (Keltec PF9 is less, but I prefer the Kahr)

Height (about the same grip length as a G26 and less than an XDSC).

Trigger (This is subjective).

Cons

Round count is 6+1, but sufficient for most parts of town (Subjective).

Limited availability of compatible aftermarket night sights. Kahr sells one, but I have read stories of them breaking off at the KahrTalk forum.

The one I had came in as a trade and was abused. Looked like it had hung out in an old tool shed or a glove box. Never had an issue with it and I put about 300 rnds through it before I traded it away.....I like'em.

Love mine--it replaced a j-frame as my pocket gun. I don't like long, double action-style triggers, but that's what you get with a lot of pocket guns and the Kahr's is as good as any. Mine has been totally reliable and is surprisingly accurate for its size. Some grumble about recoil, but it's a non-issue for me. Overall, the best pocket gun money can buy, in my worthless opinion.

Like others have stated, IMHO Kahr are great. I have the CW9 and absolutely love it. It has become my EDC over my G19, because of thickness. Should be able to pick one up around $400 bucks, the CW comes in 9, .40, and .45. Relatively the same size on all 3 calibers. Different thickness for obvious reasons. Hope this helps.

Love the idea of one on paper: size, no extra safeties to screw you up when you need to use it.

However, my only experience with handguns prior to owning it was with flawless, reliable Glocks, so the hiccups during the break-in period made me uncomfortable with it to the point that I couldn't trust carrying it. Sold it after only putting 300 rounds through it with about 8 failure to feeds.

Sounds like they're hit or miss... but mostly hit.
