Deep Concealment

Got a NRA 5.11 Concealment Shirt awhile back and nobody and I mean nobody can tell that I'm carrying. No printing, no hooks I mean nothing shows. Now it is a TAD slow to get out my .40 but I can carry anywhere that doesn't have a metal detector. Not that I would ever think of carrying where it is prohibited by law mind you.

What are you carrying in it? This is the T-shirt thing right?

M&P 40c. One could carry a spare mag and/or a small flashlight on the other side. Yes T-shirt type.

The 5.11 holster shirt fits the bill! The truly unique construction of this shirt allows you to carry a small revolver or auto-loader securely and invisibly under another shirt. The mesh concealment pockets feature additional mesh support over the shoulder to prevent sagging when carrying. The main body of the shirt is constructed of Dri-X-treme, an anti-microbial, moisture wicking, quick drying fabric. This shirt is designed to fit snug due to compressed design

LOL. It fits me quite well and I am slightly out of shape.

Deep concealment. When I read that, I thought it was somebody shoving their gun up their butt. :P

Only if posted on the Pink Pistols forum :)

But in all seriousness, I have found this item to be very comfortable for all day carry, and by all day 14 hrs is the longest I was carrying. and nobody suspected. It's a nice item to have for those occasions where having a holster on the side, IWB or not, tuckable or not, is not real appropriate or advised.

Now y'all need to obey the law ya hear.

Man, I wish- I have a keg now. A mini-keg, but a keg nonetheless.

I am packing a few more lbs than I really need and this shirt still fits me well. However there are other shirts out there - Kramer makes one, that does the same thing. I just find the real deep concealment so much better in that roving eyes don't see a thing. Just keep in mind that getting your pistol out is slower than a traditional carry.

nraforlife, would that shirt take a glock 23?

Do not know. Fits my 40c nicely and it looks big enough for a Commander size 1911.

If you carry deep concealed what do you wear? Personally, I like the 5.11 holster shirt but there are other types out there.

MTAC, jeans and a untucked button up shirt works for me.

I don't get the term "deep concealment".Your gun is either concealed or not.I guess it means you actually try to conceal your gun well enough to avoid detection which is the purpose of carrying concealed in the first place.
