A year or two ago I picked up an older (six shot) Taurus Model 66. I really like it. I trust it enough that it is my bedside gun as well as being on my hip a lot when I am at home. It also goes camping/trout fishing with me loaded up with Buffalo Bore 180 grain hardcast in case a black bear decides to get too (un)friendly.

Nice gun. Good film and photo work as well. Just one thing wrong. It needed to have been the .44 Mag Tracker. Now that's a fun gun.

Anyone have a S&W 8 shot revolver? I think it is in either .357 or .45 They have them at Buds and Cheaper then Dirt.

Only ONE thing missing.

I did not see the gun being fired.

A gun one ain't shooting is a paperweight.

Congrats on the purchase of your new revolver Steve, it's a good looking piece, how well does it shoot?

It works, but I shot only 25 rounds with it, so far. (I should buy more ammo.)

I think you're talking about the Smith model 27. It's an 8 shot .357 built on the bigger N frame.

This taurus looks comparable to a L Frame 686+

I need more .357's in my life too. It's just a good versatile caliber.

Exactly! It's hard to go wrong with a good .357 revolver.

Nice looking revolver. Recently shot my Taurus in .357. (Georgie likey!)

I have very little experience with a wheel gun and have a question.

In the video, I noticed that there is a double "recoil" motion when the revolver is fired.

If anyone else noticed, would they be nice enough to explain this to a noob?

I am pretty sure he was double tapping.

"noob"? Come on, it's not Call of Duty. I like this term better: "beginner shooter"

Those were just test shots, I didn't really care, I just wanted to test my revolver. Especially because like 100 people said the Taurus is awful, Taurus revolvers doesn't work, and the cylinder is going to stuck or blow up. But obviously, all those people were wrong, my Taurus revolver works fine.

You're not wearing black! WTF?

Problem solved.

 lol

Yes, I did hit the target every time. The shooting gloves helped a lot with the recoil.

Why are you wearing a paintball mask? Or maybe it just looks like it.
