Looks good where did you get it done.

Nice work.

Who did it, and how much?

Im thinking of getting something along these lines to honor my 20 years of service:

Joe you might want to PM Hornet Handler here and ask him about the guy who did his work at Emperor Tattoo in Nashville. The color and shading on it was amazing.

It is amazing what they can do these days. When I started, the only real people doing it were bikers and their "art" wasn't that great. It didn't stop me and Creeky did a picture of my kids that I hope to one day turn in to a tattoo once the disposable income becomes what it should be.

Nice ink! They seem to have done a very good job with the shading.

Nice looking ink!!

I have four (at the moment). A good friend of mine and brother at the Lodge does all of mine. He use to work at Dave's here in Memphis, but that has been a while back.

That's a heck of a way to start ink!

LOL...yea, once I finally made up my mind to do it...decided to go all out.

Just keep it nice and moisturized with Curel (fragrance free) or whatever other topical lotion they told you to use for the next few weeks. That will help cut down on the itching too.

Love it! Sure wish I had a tattoo.......eh, husband? *pleads*

We were sitting in a waiting room yesterday and I pointed out a 100 year old woman (well maybe not that old) who had a butterfly tattoo at the base of her neck. It was the least attractive tattoo that I have ever seen. In fact, I am pretty sure I threw up a little when I saw it but that probably has to do with the huge spare tire that the old woman was carting around too. And the crew cut.

To be honest, there are indeed times that I re-think how smart it was for me to have gotten mine on my left upper arm. Thankfully it is hidden 99% of the time and my wife actually thinks it's cool. That said, I'm really glad she doesn't have any. ;)

This post was not a paid endorsement. ;)

;) Yikes! Thats pretty funny actually. I think tatoos can look great or awful depending on where, what and how well its done. That said...I still want one ;)

That looks very nice. Ed Strange's wife is a well known tattoo artist at Acid Works Studio in Mount Morris, MI: http://www.acidworkstattoos.com/gallery/index.htm Looks like her X-rated stuff is offline right now.

Ed owns Wicked Grips, which primarily makes grips for 1911s.

I don't have any tatts, but have learned enough from Ed to know what to look for if I decide to get one. You look for good artwork and prices high enough for the artist to not be using cheap or watered down pigments.
