Good for him but - "Todd takes cover behind the pumps as he fires at a dodging suspect..."

Gas pumps and shooting usually don't mix. He's lucky he didn't blow himself up.

Still proud of him, an older ram among the sheep.

He used his weapon successfully, because he survived unharmed (mostly due to luck, I must admit), I hope that this was a lesson for him to prepare better to make hits under stress... I do wonder where his shots went...

Especially that 20-30 foot shot across the lot while the bad guy was running. There is no need for that crap.

I'd bet if he had a big desert eagle strapped to his chest the bad guy wouldn't even have bothered him.

One shot probably went into his truck.

He definitely needs more practice but absolutely good for him for being prepared. I'm glad no one else was hurt especially with that shot across the parking lot. I guess he got caught up in the moment and wasn't thinking clearly. I can see that happening to many people (maybe even me?)

I'm not sure I qualify as a mall ninja.

I don't wear crazy clothes.

I don't carry a knife.

I just carry one gun w/o extra magazines.

I don't take karate classes.

I've never had to draw my handgun.

I've never had the urge to be in law enforcement or a security guard or PI or repo man or a jail guard, etc.

I don't hoard ammo.

I don't have an evil black rifle.

I think zombies are made up and only exist in the movies.

I agree. How does anyone know, even with lots of practice, how they will react when faced with something like this. I like to think I would do better but the truth is I just don't know.

That incompetent old man shouldn't be carrying in the first place. He couldn't even hit the bad guy.

And you could? He needs practice, yes. What he doesn't need is an armchair-commando who wasn't there second guessing what happened.

I vote Voldemort official mall ninja of the board. :D

I second.
