Finally applied for my C & R.

I did it. I finally applied for my C&R after putting it off for a couple of years. I really don't know why I waited so long to apply, but now that I have I am sure the wait to get it will seem like a long time. Now I just have to start looking for my first purchase.

Worth the wait. Inbound transfers (purchases) save you whatever your FFL was charging plus the NIC. Outbound (sales), no real savings. Mine took under four weeks.

The C&R license allows you to buy C&R eligible firearms without having to go through an FFL dealer. So it saves you money on transfer fees and also gives you dealer pricing with companies such as MidwayUSA and Brownells.

I have been waiting for mine for three weeks now. Should be here any day now. I think the first gun I am going to buy is going to be the Polish P-64. Been wanting one for awhile now.

I received my C&R last Friday.

It took a bit over 4 weeks, which isn't too bad.

I sent out several e-mails to various vendors this morning and will be mailing out signed copies my next day off work.

The "dealer discounts" alone are more than worth the wait imho.

Congrats on taking the plunge.

ATF charged the $30 to my credit card 3/7. I have been trying to decide on my first purchase. I am thinking about a CZ-82 or maybe a Yugo M24/47 Mauser. What can anyone tell me about the 8mm mauser ammo?

For bolt guns you can't beat the 50s Yugo for value
