Free Carry Permit Class, East TN

Requirements:

• gun, 6 shot minimum
  
• eye/ear protection
  
• holster
  
• 50 rounds ammo
  
• sack lunch
  

classes are on Saturdays from 7-3:30. Shooting is at an outdoor range so weather may play a factor. Space is limited.

I did not personally take this course, but a co-worker did and she said it was very well done. If anyone calls and finds any of this info to be incorrect, let me know and I will edit.

So you get the certificate needed to go get you carry permit? If so I'm definitely going this summer to get mine. I'm going this week to purchase my first handgun and I want to get my carry permit as soon as possible.

That is correct. You still have to pay the state for the application. Most classes cost $60-90, this one just happens to be free. Just give them a call and get a spot ahead of time.
