Knox Co. man wants gun laws changed

Recommended Posts

And there you have it. Is Tenn. willing to go up against the Feds? No.

And more importantly is an individual willing to take on the Federal Governement's endless resources? I would be willing to bet that Tennessee would bow down to the feds rather than stand up for its citizens.

There is a guy in Montana who has began the process. He has made and sold guns without having a FFL. He has come under the watchful eye of the feds. He has a lot of backing as well but he will likely be spending time in jail when all is said and done.

Went and read the comments section to this article on WBIR. There were several posts that were a bit eye opening. This isn't apparently a subdivision in the traditional sense. Yes there are some 1/2 acre lots, but there are some that are much bigger and one is about 50 acres. Also the police did talk to the individual(s) doing the shooting and apparently they were shooting the opposite direction and into a dirt bank or berm. Also this guy apparently is somewhat the neighborhood crank and constantly is posting signs for various things in his yard, Like "Stop videotaping our Children!" and other stuff. Now it does sound like his neighbors need to use a little common sense and maybe curtail the shooting after 5 or 6 o'clock, though the article didn't seem very clear on what time it was exactly the shooting was occuring.

I see no need to change any laws in Knox County. I think the neighbors should just talk it out and use a little common sense.
