This past weekend I found myself wondering if it could work out to have middle Tennessee (aka Nashville and surrounding areas) TGO members get together one Saturday morning each month for a breakfast somewhere, and then follow it up with a journey to one of the local shooting ranges. Now that warmer weather is upon us, the range on Hobson Pike might be a good place.

Is anyone interested? I don't know that I could make it every time, but I'd try.

I get to Nashville whenever the schedule and budget permit.

Count me in for once a month.

Count me in, and I have a good date to start, 4-14-07, which is the day we are going to have a GSSF style match at the Gallatin Gun Club, any gun can shoot, no drawing from the holster, and you stand in one spot. Any takers?

Sounds like we've got more than enough people to do this. I'm going to sit down with a calendar and pick out a date not too far from now. Would 2-3 weeks advance notice be enough for most folks?

Also... anyone completely opposed to eating breakfast at a Cracker Barrel restaurant? They're all right off the Interstate usually which would make it easy for folks to find the meeting place.

I'm in.

I'm starting work on Friday as a volunteer RSO at the Hobson Pike range. (Stones River Hunter Education Center) If we meet when I am working, I can make sure everyone is in adjacent firing points. I probably can get some free targets, etc for everyone. We'll see how my first day goes. If anyone is interested in volunteering at the range as an RSO (RSO volunteers get to shoot FREE!), check us out at: http://www.rso1.com/

Find out who drives the red 93 Mustang Cobra will ya? Every time I go to that range I see that car there, so I can only assume he works there. I'd like to check it out.
