LEBANON, TN GUNSHOW THIS WEEKEND

Is this a gunshow worth going to? I've been there once/twice and it seemed pretty small, maybe one big dealer - Ken's?

Is anyone going?

Ishel, if you're driving from Morristown, probably not worth it. It's stll quite small. I may go just to try to sell

a Springfield XDm 40 that I want to sell in order to buy something else. Aside from that, I wouldn't go either.

Kens' is usually the biggest dealer there.

Plus, I'm only 10 mi or less away.

It usually is a small show, but has in the past had a good public turnout. It probably won't thrill the guys looking to see seveal hundred tables of guns and goodies, but I have enjoyed going there in the past.

Small show, too close to the once a week gunshows in this area. The Clarksville Show they put on is

much better and only twice a year. Ken's no longer allowed at their shows.

I still want my admission refunded from the last one I went to. There is a larger selection of guns and accessories at many gun shops than at the Lebanon show. They don't charge admission either!

I guess it was about a year ago a friend and I got a table at that show and it was the worst show we have ever been to. They stuck us back in hole and we didn't have a third of the people come by our table. The tables were arranged so that the flow of traffic wouldn't bring a lot of people to a lot of tables. Also I have been to their show in Murfreesboro and it was terrible. So no I wouldn't go to that show. Maybe some day someone will have a good show in middle Tennessee like the one in Knoxville or Louisville. Don

The last time I went to this one it was full of long guns, very few handguns on display, same flea market junk seen at the other shows.

I believe it's been said before but the best deals are the ones walking around or in the parking lot.

Thought I might go, it's usually really tight, and yes the best stuff is walking around not on the tables. I did pick up some .223 tips for a good price a while back.

My brother-in-law and I went yesterday afternoon. Total waste of $8. We were looking primarily for either a Remington 1100 or 11-87. Only saw one. Way too small compared to Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, or even Nashville.
