Ok here we go Im really digging this mount let me know what you guys think :)

I really want one of the MI mounts that go where the Iron sitse are but Ill just have to wait around 80.00 for that little mount I will make this work in the mean Time....

Items Used

1. Primary arms Minidot with No Mount

2.Picatinny Rail Riser mount

Tools Used

1. Dremel With Cutting wheel and grinding pad

2.Drill and 2 different Drill Bits 1- 3/32 bit and 1- 1/4 bit

3. Flat Black Paint

1st I cut the Riser down to allow for space to go over top of the Iron sight on the AK

The grided everything smoth on top and bottom where the Mini Dot would go

Then I lined up the Mount that Came with the Mini Dot "For AR 15 to tall and out of place for the AK" and marked holes the drilled with the 3/32 Bit and then from the Bottom I drilled with the 1/4 Bit abot 1/8" deep so the small screws that came with the mount could inset into the riser when screwed to the MiniDot .

I then Lined everything up and mounted it and made shure it worked and was nice and sturdy then Proceeded to take it back apart for paint.

After Painting and Drying I put everything Back together and this is the Outcome what do you guys think .

Just curious, why this over an ultimak?

Id rather have the Mount that goes where the Iron sight is so if I was gonna order oneit would be that shure Id take an ulti mak and use it if i had the chance for cheap but Since I dont right now "will be a few weeks before I can order the Mount I want " I figured Id make my own to use in the mean time "of corse all that cuting and grinding made me think I may be able to just make my own one of these

70 to 100.00 for just a mount seems rediculous but I really do want one :)

Also this Minidot didnt come with a way to mount it to an ultimak I doesnt have a bottom mount unless I use the AR15 mount and that thing looks horrible out of place on an AK atleast to me
