Responding to a private message?

I might be stupid, but for the life of me I cant figure out how to reply to a message now. Do I need to activate a feature or???

None of the options mentioned are available in my inbox. I am totally stumped here.

I searched through every option we have access to and I can't find a thing. Sorry I can't be of more help.

ETA: If that's an old message (pre-software change) then you may not be able to reply. I just noticed that on one of mine. Just compse a new message to them. Don't know why it can't be done, but I did just see it.

If the original post has been deleted, you can't respond. (I think that is what is happening) Copy it, resend it as a new PM. Might work for ya.

However, looking at your picture and a message I have that I can't respond too, I get this at the bottom, can't tell if you get this or not.

I always have to scroll to the bottom of the page to see the PM box as well...

Both messages came during the new forum. One thing I found was a tab that said "deleted" by each one, but I didn't delete them and If I had, why would they still be there?

Could they have been in a chat format maybe, then they logged off and so it was not an option to respond?

It might be that the recipient deleted the message from their mailbox, thus ending the conversation.
