My newest 1911... American Classic Commander

So, my amazing wife bought me a new gun for Valentine's Day... another American Classic, this time a blued Commander! Needless to say, I am ecstatic. Finally had a few minutes today to try it out, so I bought a new mag (7 round stainless Colt) and loaded it and the 8 round ACT that came with the gun, locked the slide back, popped in the ACT, dropped the slide and emptied the mag without a hitch (shooting Blazer Brass 230 gr. FMJ). I fired thirty rounds total, loading each magazine twice, without one failure of any type. I did have one empty casing bounce off my noggin, but all the rest were pitched wide right (one issue I have read about with some new Commanders is shells ejecting into the shooter's face). I was not really shooting for accuracy today as I did not have much time... I just threw an old coffee can out and danced it around the field for a bit, but it appears that this one will be as accurate as my hard chrome ACII. I am well pleased thus far!!
