Self Healing Targets

Recommended Posts

So I bought a self healing box target at Walmart today. Went an shot 100 rounds of .45 at it. Now I was doing quick draw drills so admittedly not all hit the target, but it was fun. It gives immediate hit response as well as moving follow-up shots. For $25 I think it's worth it. Supposed to last for 1000+ rds. Kind of neat also is the bullets slowed to a stop, and dropped almost undeformed.

I like it , Wally World you say ....

Yes, but like all Walmart's, some carry some don't. They are cheapest at Walmart but academy, bass pro, sportsmans warehouse, all carry them

Gander Mountain has them as well( but when i looked when i bought my AR they didn't have any in stock). I guess online is my next option as my local wally-world don't have much selection.

Supposedly they are $20 at Gander Mtn, Besides the box they offer a Ball shaped one and a hat shaped one.

It's pretty handy too. If you've got a private place to shoot, just grab some ammo and throw the target down and start shooting. No paper, no target stands.

I wish I knew where a field was here around my house. Way more fun than shooting at the indoor range...
